Highly advanced production equipment requires
regular maintenance in order for them to operate efficiently.
Scheduled maintenance will significantly increase the life of your machine.
We offer service agreements for your machine that can be tailored your
company's specific needs.
We offer a selection of three different levels of maintenance for your
equipment:
BASE
Recommended for machines that run 1 shift ( 1800 – 2000 hours / year)
MIDI
Recommended for machines that run 2 shifts ( 3600 – 4000 hours / year)
MAXI
Recommended for machines that run
2 shifts ( 3600 – 4000 hours / year)
All of our
agreements can be supplemented with upgrade services and spare parts stock.
When you are in need of emergency support or
you just need advice concerning your machine we offer a remote tool
diagnostic option through a modem over the internet. We have extensive
experience with remote machine troubleshooting and coordinating the repair
with our onsite support staff. Today we can reach virtually all electrical
components for diagnosis, utilizing our remote software, SPONDER.
Why do we recommend a support
agreement?
Just calculate the cost of an equipment stoppage that requires a Herber
service technician to find the problem.
Without a support agreement:
-Tool Operator verifies that there
is a problem (0,5 – 1 hour)
-Local maintenance personnel troubleshoot the problem, only to discover that
advanced troubleshooting is required ( 2 hours)
-Contracting a Herber technician to travel to your location. Calculate
travel time, daily perdiem, etc.
(In this example, arriving within
24 hours.)
How much production time and profit has been lost? What are your costs to
recoup these financial losses?
With a support agreement:
- Tool Operator verifies that there is a problem (0,5-1 hour)
- Local maintenance personnel troubleshoot the problem with support from
Herber’s online technical support staff. Together with an experienced
technician, online they find the problem within 2 hours. ( Average remote
support takes 1 – 4 hours)
- The machine is now returned to previous production levels. It is
recommended that further maintenance be performed later by a Herber
technician when a machine shutdown does not affect production, in order to
eliminate the possibility of reoccurrences.

NOTE:
In order for us to connect to your machine over the internet, this option
must be installed on your machine.
